Genesee County CMH contracts with the State of Michigan to provide mental health, developmental disability and substance use disorder services to the residents of Genesee County. Payments for these services are determined by the State and paid to the Counties on an annual basis. This payment is “capitated” which means that a county is given a fixed amount of money for services regardless of how many people the CMH may serve.
