You have heard that customer service is not a department, it’s an attitude. We in Customer Services want you to know that we appreciate both your attitude of service to our customers, and your service.
We can’t do what we do in Customer Services without all the staff at CMH and in the network of providers. For example, if you don’t tell consumers about our groups, they can’t come to them. If you don’t promote the annual picnic, people don’t attend. If you don’t represent the best of our organization, the community doesn't request us to speak at their events. We can’t show our appreciation for our customers if they don't know about Customer Appreciation Day. The list goes on. What is all boils down to is this: Without our customers there is no reason for us to be here, but without you, we cannot provide the very best for our customers. So to all the staff at CMH and throughout our network of providers, thank you!
We'd like to ask that you help keep the individuals you work with up to date on what Customer Services is all about and what we have to offer. One very underutilized way to do that is through this website. If you go to the Services tab on the www.gencmh.org home page, you will find Customer Services. Click on the link to find our group calendar which you can print if needed. You will also find descriptions of all the groups we offer along with lots of other valuable information, including a place for consumers to sign up for groups electronically -- very cool! Also under the Services tab is the Wellness Services link where you will find some great information about physical health and fitness. Back on the home page, you can select News to access the consumer newsletter, The Chat, and of course, Quality Matters. And under Learn More, check out Tips for Life for some very useful publications. The CMH website is a great resource and we really urge you and your consumers to utilize it!
